Tips for Thick Thighs - Men

wHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR IF YOU HAVE THICK THIGHS AND A SMALL WAIST

It’s funny, when I created this body question on my Instagram, so many guys messaged me expressing how they have struggled with this problem. Most girls think that this is a girl only problem, I know I used to. On the contrary, many guys face this problem, especially if they work out often or have a muscular build.

Good news men, there is hope for the struggle. Here are 3 Knit Me Up tips that will make pants & jeans shopping much easier. Adopt it OR call me to help you adopt it ;)

#1: Get Yourself A Good Tailor

A good tailor is your holy grail to a clean style.

You’re probably thinking “that sounds expensive, no thanks”. But you can actually find some very affordable tailors in your city, especially the ones that do it from their home. Call me and I’ll hook you up. A tailor can take your look from 0 to 100 in seconds. Case in point, look below.

While these are examples of suits, tailoring will have the same effect on jeans, pants, shirts, and everything else.

#2: Try Sizing Down

#FittedIsBetter

I find that when we have proportional body issues, we look for something that fits in one area but not the other. For example, with thick thighs, once you’ve found jeans that fit your thighs you accept the rest of the fit around your waist and etc. With this formula, you end up looking bigger than you actually are because you’re swimming in jeans that are too big for you.

If you do size up, make sure to TAILOR the pants to fit the rest of your body. However, the goal of this second tip is to help you wear your real size which leads to our next tip.

There are many brands and styles that provide a stretchy/flexible fit. That way your thighs can breathe even with a fitted look. Take a look below …

#3: Try Other Brands/Styles

Make room for muscular thighs

There are SO many styles and brands that will appreciate all your thighs have to offer. Here are a few options but I hope to increase this list as I do more research/expand my clientele.

Styles

  1. Joggers

  2. Chinos

  3. Textured Pants

Brands

  1. Kit & Ace

  2. Lululemon

The great thing about these styles and brands is that they offer versatility. You’ll notice that the pants examples I included above can be worn in multiple occasions meaning, you have more outfit options with just one pair of pants.

Also, here’s an additional list of denim brands that are making jeans for athletic builds!
