Finding Affordable Clothes

THE ULTIMATE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT WINNERS

I found WONDERFUL things at Winners including a unique Givenchy sweater, Rag & Bone Jeans, Calvin Klein Shoes and a Mackage Cloak. Ps this isn’t an ad, I genuinely live, sleep and shop at Winners!

3 TIPS to looking fashionable on a budget

Okay I love to shop. There’s a sick satisfaction that comes upon me when my feet begin to hurt after long hours of shopping, my forearms start going numb after carrying around countless hanger, and FINALLY my heart starts pounding because I spent $100 when it should have cost me $300, nothing beats that high. Also, I am quite sure I got this shopaholic tendency from my Dad because I don’t know another man that loves to shop like he does - I . JUST . DON’T

Ultimately it’s the savings that gives me the high, and the quality off course because “the sweetness of cheap quickly disappears after the bitter taste of poor quality remains”.

WHERE TO find affordable

&

fashionable clothes ?

Obviously from Winners, just kidding, not everyone has my kind of patience and satisfaction from long hours of shopping!

  1. shop at pricey stores during sales …

It seems so simple right, but everyone gets carried away by “New Arrivals” and “Just In” signs. If you think about it, the sales items were “New Items” at some point so don’t get fooled by Marketing, and that’s coming from a marketing geek.

Every store HAS & DOES SALES, except maybe Apple but even they offer refurbished products. I personally feel violated when I buy something at full price, it’s happened before but I try to never let things go that far … lol

If it’s gone, it wasn’t meant to be. Unless you would die without it, then I can understand.

2. LOOK FOR DEPARTMENT STORES / discount stores

Originally I wanted to dedicate this blog to Winners because it felt like I found actual gold when I walked out. Here’s why ..

this Mackage WOOL CLOAK with FUR TRIM was $90

Here’s how much it should have cost

This givenchy sweater was $800

(a bit steep I know, but i’m trying to make a point)

Here’s how much it could have cost

these RAG & BONE HIGH WAIST JEANS were $95

Here’s how much it could have cost

these MARC JACOBS HIGH WAIST JEANS were $45

My point ?

Department stores, discount stores, consignment stores and anywhere else that offers major discounts on great brands is where I prefer to shop, and you should too! They pride themselves on deals, so that means they actually want you to find affordable items in their stores.

3. THE LAST TIP IS TO HIRE ME AS YOUR PERSONAL SHOPPER

Gross, what a shameless plug right ? But what if you’re sitting there and you actually need me because you hate shopping and want nice clothes that actually reflect who you are. If I’m speaking to you, then send me a message and let’s talk. I believe in affordable personal shopper packages too ;)

As always, thank you for reading and making it this far, hope you enjoyed the read!
