Wedding Season: Part 1

Dress from BEBE | Jacket from Zara | Jewelry from Aldo Accessories

Wedding season is upon us and with it comes the agony of finding a new dress in your closet that hasn't been seen on social media. If you're like me, you somehow have multiple weddings to attend this summer and you experience the stress of finding something new for each wedding. Here are some remedies to help you along the way.

HOW TO pick Dresses For a Wedding event

When shopping for dresses, whether to an event or a wedding, I look for the most unique and unconventional dress or outfit. Case in point, view the dress below ...

My Blue Jumpsuit

This is such a statement piece that I have managed to wear it to at least 3 special events.

This blue jumpsuit is from Zara and turns heads every time I wear it because of the colour and retro/modern vibes. This brings me to the main outfits in focus for this blog, my light blue feathery dress from Bebe

And second, my white fur dress, a favourite from Topshop!

AIM FOR UNIQUE OUTFITS OR DRESSES

Okay, I know it's a white dress but the idea is that you aim for dresses or outfits that have a statement factor. Truth is, even if someone previously saw it on you, whether or not they remember the outfit, they're simply distracted by the uniqueness of the dress. This effect, leaves a lasting impression and makes the dress re-wearable. You end up saving money by not having to buy a new dress and you'll have a wow factor effect on the wedding guests.

Trust me, it works every time ;)
